Yeah that's right. I'm on the seventh and final book of the Harry Potter series. And I started the series two weeks ago.

My conclusion about this series is this: It's flipping amazing. Harry Potter has changed my life. I know that's stupid and cliché to say, but this series has appealed to me because I whole-heartedly admit that, I am a hopeless dreamer. I love the plot and the characters and the whole idea. The nerd inside of me has been satisfied too. The girl inside of me was entirely satisfied because of the romance. Yes, I admit, I am a dreamer, a romantic, and most of the time, a nerd. Take me as I am.

The Harry Potter series has made me realize more things.

First, I am now never going anywhere without a Harry Potter book, my i-pod, another book in case I don't want to read Harry Potter (Would that ever happen? Anyways...), My copy of "The Black Parade" by My Chemical Romance or a copy of "City Of Evil" by Avenged Sevenfold (When I actually buy the CD, lol.), and small piece of Mikey's mane.

Second, I now want to name all my horses after Harry Potter characters. Knowing me, I made a list. Ya know you love me.

Paramore's New Video For "Hallelujah"

Let's start with the video. It's adorable. I personally LOVE tour music videos. It's why I love the video for "Neighbors" by The Academy Is... It matches the song perfectly and shows what a great band Paramore is.

Second, Hayley Williams's vocals on this song are just f***ing amazing. I aspire to be as good a singer as she is. Who knows, maybe one day when I'm in a band, I'll tell the members of Paramore how much they inspire me. Zac Farro makes me want to learn the drums even more. Same with Josh Farro (Guitar) and Jeremy Davis (Bass) and Hayley Williams (Vocals).

I actually take Paramore's new CD "Riot!" to my singing lessons and at the end my vocal coach lets me sing along with it.

My favorite band ever is really a three way tie between My Chemical Romance, Paramore, and Avenged Sevenfold. Plus maybe Cobra Starship. And The White Stripes. Dammit, I can't chose.

THE USED'S NEW VIDEO! AHHHHH! Can you tell I'm excited?

Here are my thoughts. I love the song. I was completely thrilled that they were making a video for this song.

Well, first off, the video is interesting. It's probably seizure inducing and/or vomit inducing.

It's a solid video, but I don't think it is as good as the video for "The Bird and The Worm". Also, I HATE Bert McCracken (lead singer) as a blond. He looks like Kurt Cobain. But it's none of my business how he puts his hair.

The rat was squealing wildly, but not loudly enough to cover up the sounds drifting from Hagrid's garden. There was a jumble of indistinct male voices, a silence, and then, without warning, the unmistakable swish and thud of an axe.
Hermione swayed on the spot.
"They did it!" she whispered to Harry. "I d--don't believe it -- they did it!"

This is the part from Harry Potter and The Prisoner Of Azkaban when they were executing Buckbeak the Hippogriff. For some reason this part made me laugh. Not the fact the Buckbeak is getting executed, the whole thing with Ron and Scabbers made me laugh. This book makes me want a Hippogriff. Apparently, a Hippogriff is half bird, half horse.

Just an update and some thoughts...

Well. Last week I fell off Dori in my horse back riding lesson. It was a really funny fall too. I sat up, sat there for a moment and went to catch Dori. My instructor made me jump a line a thousand times until I got it right. Dori was going really fast, and my instructor had me do it until I slowed her down. When I got back from my lesson I was really sick because of the heat. Also, my half chaps rub my legs raw, and when I got back from my lesson and took off my chaps, my legs and breeches were bloody. Nice huh? I guess what they say is true. No pain, no gain.

I finally started reading the Harry Potter series. I tried reading the books when it first came out and I couldn't get into it. But on Sunday, I read the entire book in one day. And I took a nap, because I hadn't been sleeping lately. I'm currently on The Chamber of Secrets. I'm loving it. I'm almost finished with The Eyes Of The Dragon by Stephen King. I'm going to read The Shining next.

An update on Projekt Revolution. I currently have 20 dollars. I need 75 dollars. I'm pathetic.

My hair is red! I know, random, but I wanted to say it. My best friend and I, in a couple weeks, are going to Hot Topic and getting hair dye. She wants lime green streaks. I was thinking blue. I trying to convince my mom to let me get bangs. Not going so well.

A Reflective Post

So, a couple minutes earlier, I am lying in my bed listening to Fall Out Boy's new CD Infinity On High in the dark. It made me think about things.

Well, my first thought or feeling, was regret. Regret for the letting the band member's personalities and what they did with their lives affect me so. Regret for dropping this band like a hot potato when I found that I did not respect the band members anymore.

Nostalgia. Fall Out Boy was my first band love EVER. They got me into music. I looked up the bands they liked and looked up bands on the same label as them. For that, I am eternally grateful.

Realization. Realization that they are not the best band in the world. Realization that other bands make better music. As I was listening to it, I found that it wasn't amazing or powerful or epic. It's just good. It's not great.

Pete Wentz's lyrics are very egotistical. "The only thing I haven't done yet is die." Ok. We get it. But that being said, that boy does have a way with words, egotistical or not.

I don't want to be a Fall Out Boy hater or die-hard "Fall Out Boy is my favorite band, they make the most amazing music" kind of fan. I like them. I don't necessarily respect them.

Gawd. Fall Out Boy and I have had a very long and winding relationship. And I feel I have come to some acceptence.

Well, first off, my ipod apparently really likes The Beatles and Prince. I cheated slightly and skipped over songs because my ipod kept picking Beatles and Prince songs. I have a TON of Beatles songs.

One more rant, then I'm good...

When one enters my bedroom, the first thing that they notice are my walls. And the funny thing is that you can barely seen my walls. You see, I’ve collected so many posters, pictures, and articles over the past months that two sides of my room are no longer even visible. They’re supposedly a deep shade of green, but I’m sure that the color’s faded a bit now for being covered up for so long. So what kind of posters have I decided to plaster all over my bedroom? Bands. Tons of them. But the band featured most would hands down be Panic! At the Disco. I’m going to say this very clear and simply: I’m obsessed with their music. You may want to re-read that line to make sure you’ve heard me correctly, or in this case read. I’m utterly obsessed with their MUSIC, not them. If someone were to ask me about their physical appearance, I’d say they look pretty good. But do I like them in that way? No, of course not. Do I say that I love them like the majority of their fan base? Absolutely not. I can’t say that I love them because I don’t personally know them. You can’t say that you love someone after only seeing their photo. Acting like that will only qualify you to be called names such as shallow, ignorant, and well...slut.- A fan fiction called "The Missing Frame" by Zeik.

I was reading that fanfic today, and as I read that part it almost perfectly describes me and my feelings about guys in famous bands like My Chem, Taking Back Sunday, Panic! at the Disco, ECT. I fell in love with these bands because of their MUSIC. I did not see their picture and say "Oh, they are sooo hot, I'm going to start listening to their music". I respect them as artists, well, because they make damn good music. Not because they are good looking.

I do have bands all over my walls, but I don't even have Panic! on my wall. The bands I like, I'm obsessed with their MUSIC. NOT THEM.

So if you come up to me and say Gerard Way is hot, It will take all my willpower not to gauge your eyes out. And even then I'm not promising anything.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh. *sighs*

Hot damn!

My first concert ever. I'm friggen stoked. The only thing is, that I have to pay for the tickets myself. It would be about fifty dollars for me and and my mom, and I don't that kind of money yet. But I will! I working my ass off. I only found out today that the tour was coming to my area. I talked to my mom, and she said we could go. I made seven dollars already. The concert in August 19th. We're probably going to melt in that heat but I don't care.

This song... I don't know. Something about it amazes me. It's so tragic, yet so beautiful. Here is the song, if you want to hear it.

I feel so somber after reading the lyrics. But, I hope it speaks to your soul like it speaks to mine. I have never had a first hand experience with cancer, but my grandmother died from skin cancer. I never knew her, But I feel a special connection with her. My mom talks about her sometimes, and I know she was an amazing person.

This is for you Grandma. I'll love you forever.
