Big Freaking News!

I'm going to see Paramore, The Almost, The Starting Line, and****E%Dfgz in concert!!!

I'm so excited. And, I'm taking my best friend Travis with me. She's not really into Paramore, she's a little more hiphop/rap, but she's still excited. It's her first concert.

We should have a blast.

Other than that, I'm obsessed with a band called Leathermouth and a band called The Color Fred. Both side projects of people from bands I already like. Leathermouth is the side project of Frank Iero, My Chemical Romance's rhythm guitarist. The Color Fred is the side project of Fred Maraschino, lead guitarist for Taking Back Sunday.

Requiem For A Dream

Disturbing. But amazing.

It just shows you how much drugs can ruin people's lives. They all had dreams. But that went downhill when the characters became so addicted that they would do anything for a high. Jared Leto and Jennifer Connelly were SUPERB in this movie. As was Marlon Wayans. And Ellen Burstyn. Fantastic acting all around.

It's brutal to watch, but the editing on the film is AMAZING. Watch it.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This ranks up there as one of the three most powerful movies I have ever seen in my lifetime (Full Metal Jacket and Grave of The Fireflies being the other two). This movie shows the brutal honest side of addiction and over-indulgence. Not just drugs, although it heavily shows drug addiction. Also shows how one addiction can lead to another and how damaging it can be for you. I watched this alone, and felt so stunned afterwards, I had to call a friend just to calm my nerves. Seriously, this is a brutal (one more time) BRUTAL film. The acting is wonderful - Ellyn Burnstyn and Jenniffer Connely are just wonderful in this movie, and Wayons was such a shocker in a serious role. Everyone must watch it, for it's entertainment value, and more importantly, it's educational value. But it leaves chills down your spine for it's honesty and unforgiving lessons.

What if I wanted to break? Laugh it all off in your face. What would you do?

The Kill (Bury Me)
30 Seconds To Mars
A Beautiful Lie

From Yesterday
30 Seconds To Mars
A Beautiful Lie

Yeah, it's ten minutes.

Um, so, is it bad that I'm starting to really like 30 Seconds To Mars? I don't know. But, I'm posting the FULL versions of BOTH videos, because the videos are amazing and I love them. Do I really need a reason at 4:41 AM?

There is one man that I tend to get alll teenie over....

Can you guess who he is?

ROBERT BARTLEH CUMMINGS

aka, ROB ZOMBIE!

Me + not being able to sleep + the tv + the sauce = me seeing Rob Zombie on The Sauce. And him getting even more admiration from me!

I couldn't find a video. I'm so sorry. I'll just settle for posting two of the videos they played on that episode:

White Zombie- thunder kiss 65

Add to My Profile | More Videos
The reason why it's a myspace video is that youtube didn't have it. And I was determined to post it.

Uggg, Damnit! I can't find the video for "When Doves Cry" by Prince. Just go listen to that song.

You may wonder why I sound so scattered and, well, downright weird. It's 4:33 AM, and I got barely any sleep. Good times.

This is what I randomly blurted out today:

Me: I want to wear fingerless gloves.

Mom: Ok, Michael Jackson.

Me: Hey! Don’t diss Michael Jackson! He’s the shiiii, shizzmat!

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Only because my father was there. I couldn’t curse.

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Oh, Damn.

Again, I say, oh damn.

I like a Linkin Park song. OHHHHH, DAMN!

Bleed It Out

APOCALYPSE!

Quietdrive vs. Saosin vs. Matchbox 20

Hmmmmm. Who will win? They all covered the song "Time After Time" by Cyndi Lauper. Who did it better?

Quietdrive- Time After Time

Saosin- Time After Time

Matchbox 20- Time After Time

My favorite would have to be the Quietdrive version (Well, of course besides the Cyndi Lauper version). I think the lead singer's voice suits it the best. I love Rob Thomas's (lead singer of Matchbox 20) voice, but I think it doesn't suit the song.

I know, I know, big shocker that I didn't pick the Saosin version. I was suprised too. :)

Cyndi Lauper- Time After Time

ETA: I love the shirt that Cove Reber (lead singer of Saosin, get with the program) is wearing in the Saosin video. I want it. Crap. (Dude, that was weird. I'm starting to hate not cursing) Who wants to snag it for me? Coommmee onnn, it's a rad shirt! Please? *puppy dog eyes*

Last post of the day. I promise.

I shall say it again.

Heroes is...

SUPERAWESOME!

Masi Oka's character "Hiro Nakamura" is the most amazing thing ever.

Milo Ventimiglia's character "Peter Petrelli" is the second most amazing thing ever.

Again, dreamer in me satisfied. Completely.

My life without you in it, is a life that's not worth living.

One of the weirdest things happened yesterday. Madina Lake was on MTV. They are being corespondents for the VMA's .

It doesn't really bother me, it's just weird.

But it totally works. Madina Lake can be a REALLY commercial band. Come on, the band members are cute, they make catchy songs. It fits.

They thing I like about Madina Lake is that they are so versatile. You can listen to them on a surface level, or you can listen to them on a emotional level.

Most of the bands I like, I can do that with. If you can do that to people, you've got a golden band. If you can "rock out" to music, but you can also FEEL something powerful while you listen to it, well then, you've got something special.

Thank you Saosin, My Chemical Romance, Avenged Sevenfold, Madina Lake, and everyone else I listen too!

Heroes is...

SUPERAWESOME!

My dad and I were at Best Buy, beacuse I cleaned two bathrooms, there for I got two CDs.

We also got Season 1 of Heroes, and I just watched the first episode. Hence forth, SUPERAWESOME!

And about the CDs, I got "City Of Evil" by Avenged Sevenfold (FINALLY!) and "From Them, Through Us, To You" by Madina Lake! I'm very happy. I finally got two CDs I really wanted. I'm going to try to get more money, so next weekend I can buy "Louder Now" by Taking Back Sunday, that Rooney CD, or "Icky Thump" by The White Stripes. :)

Here is all the CDs I have now:

"9"- Damien Rice
"Pinkerton"- Weezer
"Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge"-
My Chemical Romance
"The Black Parade"- My Chemical Romance
"Don't You Fake It"- The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus
"Saosin"- Saosin (I bought it at Projekt Rev, their merch guy was a jackass)
"City Of Evil" -Avenged Sevenfold
"Zombies! Aliens! Vampires! Dinosaurs!"- HelloGoodbye
"From Them, Through Us, To You"- Madina Lake
"Infinity On High"- Fall Out Boy
"From Under The Cork Tree"- Fall Out Boy
"My Heart Will Always Be The B-side To My Tounge"- Fall Out Boy
"Take This To Your Grave"- Fall Out Boy
"A Fever You Can't Sweat Out"- Panic! at the Disco
"Echoes: The Best Of Pink Floyd"- Pink Floyd
"Prince: Ultimate"- Prince
"Lauryn Hill: MTV Unplugged"- Lauryn Hill
"Begin To Hope"- Regina Spektor
"Sky Blue Sky"- Wilco
"Foiled"- Blue October
"Help!"- The Beatles
"Corinne Bailey Rae"- Corinne Bailey Rae
"Pablo Honey"- Radiohead
"RIOT!"- Paramore
"All We Know Is Falling"- Paramore

I also have "Love" by The Beatles and the Rent Broadway Soundtrack on my ipod. A lot of these CDs I swiped from my Dad and Mom. Corrine Bailey Rae, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, and Regina Spektor was swiped from the parents. I soon won't have Fall Out Boy anymore, because I'm loaning them to Travis. I don't listen to them and she does. Win, win.

Death Cab For Cutie- I Will Follow You Into The Dark

Love of mine some day you will die
But I'll be close behind
I'll follow you into the dark

No blinding light or tunnels to gates of white
Just our hands clasped so tight
Waiting for the hint of a spark
If Heaven and Hell decide
That they both are satisfied
Illuminate the NOs on their vacancy signs

If there's no one beside you
When your soul embarks
Then I'll follow you into the dark

In Catholic school as vicious as Roman rule
I got my knuckles bruised by a lady in black
And I held my tongue as she told me
"Son fear is the heart of love"
So I never went back

If Heaven and Hell decide
That they both are satisfied
Illuminate the NOs on their vacancy signs

If there's no one beside you
When your soul embarks
Then I'll follow you into the dark

You and me have seen everything to see
From Bangkok to Calgary
And the soles of your shoes are all worn down
The time for sleep is now
It's nothing to cry about
Cause we'll hold each other soon
The blackest of rooms

If Heaven and Hell decide
That they both are satisfied
Illuminate the NOs on their vacancy signs

If there's no one beside you
When your soul embarks
Then I'll follow you into the dark
Then I'll follow you into the dark

Such a beautiful song... I love it.

The Phrase The Pays.

I feel the need to talk about a band called The Academy Is. I don't know why. I just feel the need.

Or more specifically, the lead singer's voice.

I like The Academy Is. But something is stopping me from loving them, and I think I have an idea why.

I am starting to hate the lead singer's voice. I really want to like it. I do. I like the lyrics and the guitar and drums, everything, but the lead singer's voice. It is starting to annoy the crap out of me. Sometimes I listen to TAI, and I love everything, but other times, William Beckett's (lead singer, if you hadn't caught on) voice makes me cringe.

I don't know. I just felt like writing.

You be the judge. Here is TAI's myspace.

This happens to me with a lot of bands. It makes me sad. It's the reason I can't really listen to Cute Is What We Aim For, or Armor For Sleep.

This love has taken it's toll on me.

Ok so, I felt the need to explain this whole hiatus/apocalypse.

I have been feeling so frazzled lately. I mean, my room is a mess, my schoolwork is a mess, the way I look is a mess, basically, I'm a mess.

I'm not even reading books anymore. I used to love to read. I feel the need to write. Not ranting about Fall Out Boy and certain dickhead members of Fall Out Boy, but to write! DEEP thoughts. Read and write.

The REALLY LOUD music is wearing me down. The incessant cursing is wearing me down. The way my life is, is so completely wearing me down.

That doesn't mean I will never listen to metal, punk, or screamo again. I don't even think I COULD do that. I adore that kind of music, and it is so entirely ME.

I just need a break from it.

I need peaceful.
I need indie.
I need Wilco.
And Bright Eyes.
I need to maybe SLEEP once in a fricking while.

I have been so emotional lately, and I'm TIRED OF IT.

Tired.
I'm sorry. But the hiatus/apocalypse has to start tomorrow.

My brother is annoying the SHIT out of me.

I need metal. And I need it now.

Fucking fuck fuck.

Geez.

Oh, wow. The apocalypse has come.

I'm tired of cursing. I'm tired of metal and screamo and punk. I'm tired of loud.

It's wearing me down.

I'm taking a hiatus from cursing and loud music.

Indie it is. Death Cab For Cutie, Wilco, The Decemberists, Damien Rice, Radiohead, The Shins, Bright Eyes, ECT.

Maybe a little of The Format, The Matches, and The Higher for a little variety.

-Fracky
Aw, fuck.

Damn Madina Lake for bringing this confusion onto me.

I was reading AP magazine, the 100 Bands You Need To Know issue, and they were talking about how Madina Lake is based off an imaginary town, blah blah blah.

They were saying how their music could defiantly be enjoyed on a surface level, but there is something there if you want to dig deeper.

Well me, being the productive one that I am, have been trying to figure out this whole "Disappearance Of Adalia" and "Pandora" thing.

And it's utterly confusing me.
