That's what I want to do with my life. I'm meant to be a drummer.
That is Mark O'Connell from Taking Back Sunday and one of my heroes.

Do you really? Cool. My oldest son is a drummer, my next youngest plays guitar and bass, and my daughter plays guitar and sings. Music is something you can enjoy your whole life. (playing an instrument, I mean) :)

Dude you have the coolest family! Sadly, I can't sing to save my life. I have had people say I sound good, but I think my voice is horrible.

How long has your oldest son been playing the drums?

He showed interest about 4 or 5 yrs ago. My brother has a music store and he set him up with some drums about 3 years ago. He's been banging away ever since. :o)
Here he is: http://www.flickr.com/gp/71343113@N00/5uF335
That's also other son on the black bass and daughter w/the red microphone.

Oh, and about your voice...I find that usually if you think you sound bad, but others tell you you sound good, you're good. If you think you sound good, usually others think you suck. :)

Those are some really cool pictures! Banging is fun. LOL.

My voice would be better with training, but I don't think I want to pursue it. I'd rather hide behind a drum kit. :)

I do know I want to do something with music. I know I'm passionate about it. If I could incorperate horses in that situation, I would be very happy.
